The Bucks open Alty up down the middle and Stenson's shot to Hutchinson's bottom-left corner is pushed away by Hutchinson for a corner.

Alty restore a two-goal lead.

Crankshaw's deflected shot beats Gracey as the visitors use one of the first bits of possession they've had in a long time to good effect, breaking out on the left. Crankshaw cuts in, shoots, and Gracey is wrongfooted.

Referee McQuillan isn't going to be on many Bucks' fans Christmas card lists. He halts play for a Hutchinson injury, then when we resume he calls a foul on Leshabela when an Alty player dithers in the box and loses possession.

Alty are hanging on here! Cawthorne hooks an overhead effort goalwards that's cleared off the line, George does likewise and it sets up a frantic period in the visitors' box that ends with George sending a shot across Hutchinson and wide to his left.

Stenson fires a shot away and it takes a deflection over the crossbar for a corner...

This now feels like a knockout tie, which is a huge change from the first half when it was a muted home crowd.

The Bucks are back in the contest and that's fired up the crowd! George races onto the ball played through on the right of the box and lifts it over Hutchinson as the keeper came out.

The visitors get a corner on the right after a bit of miscommunication between Cranston and Gracey and a poor touch from the latter, but the kick from the quadrant is headed comfortably wide.

Dan Sassi gets into the path of a ball forward from Gracey, George can't take the ball away despite Sassi being grounded. The positive change from the Bucks at the interval has given home fans a bit of hope that even if the Bucks go down, they'll put up a fight.

Cranston's introduction at left-back means Jamie Meddows is now wide in a left-sided attacking position, with George switched to the right.

HALF TIME:

Alty manage to tidy up as George tries to bustle through in the inside left channel. From the clearance the visitors break away and Piggott's sliding challenge concedes a corner that comes to nothing.

We've another stoppage as Knowles leaps for a header, goes over the back of Piggott, and then crashes to the floor.

Alty have a good deal of control here, as you'd expect with a 2-0 lead, but also in the way they're playing. The Bucks are oin need of a spark, something to give them a bit of belief that this game isn't getting away from them.

That's mostly for the lengthy delay for Allen-Hadley's injury.

Cawthorne recovers to block a Knowles cross after bouncing out of a tackle without the ball as Alty spring an attack on the right. The visitors' corner comes to nothing.

The Bucks try to respond and Stenson's crossfield ball sends Hilton charging into space, but as he reaches the edge of the box he tries to shimmy past a defender and loses the ball and his footing.

Alty extend their advantage.

The Bucks have been undone whilst down to ten, and after a tremendous Gracey save that kept the score at one, at least for a couple of seconds, Knowles spins onto the loose ball and find the roof of the net.

We've resumed but the Bucks have ten players currently. Dylan is sat on the bench, and Adan George looks set to join the game.

Dylan is still down, physio Beth Lewis in attendance, and he's now sat up after being laid flat for a while. Hmm, he's OK, but that's a qualified OK, I suspect that's Dylan's afternoon done.

We'll have a stoppage, DAH takes a bang on the head after opting not to challenge for a header and being caught by an Alty player.

It feels as though the Bucks need a little bit of joy going forward to make them feel they're in this game. They do get something going but Dyer's low cross from the right is easy meat for Hutchinson.

Crankshaw and Weaver have swapped flanks for Alty, Crankshaw now on the right. An attempt to find him is broken up, the Bucks attack and Hiltom cuts in, onto his left, to send a low shot just wide at Hutchinson's left post.

The Bucks deal with the corner and try to build. Stenson has dropped deep to try and link play up, but with no immediate success.

Alty are dictating more of what's happening at the moment, moving the ball well. It looks as though they've given up possession but Hilton is tackled, Knowles picks up the loose ball and Gracey has to push away his fierce effort to his near post for a corner.

The Bucks lose possession and Alty once again test the home defence. Lucas Weaver gets a yard on Oliver Cawthorne but then blazes a cross-shot high and wide.

Stenson releases DAH in a race with Jake Cooper and he beats the Alty man but can't get to to ball before Isaac Hutchinson comes out to gather. I'll tell you what, though, there wasn't much in it.

Alty look that bit sharper and after they work a good shooting opportunity on the right of the box. Gracey saves and Crankshaw's attempt to snaffle the rebound sends it away from the goal, not towards it.

Fletcher makes a little push forward to the edge of the box, carrying the ball and finding Stenson, but Matty is closely marked and loses the ball.

Stenson does reall well to bring a Gracey kick under control but Allen-Hadley then loses out in a challenge with Tom Crawford.

Alty are looking sharper since the goal and Ollie Crankshaw is freed on the left. Leshabela tries to cover, Crankshaw lays the ball back to Ward, 18 yards out, and he's got that all wrong and slices the ball well wide.

The visitors lead.

A bit too easy for the visitors; they locate Jimmy Knowles on the right of the box with his back to the goal and he turns to fire a low shot into Geacey's bottom-right corner.

The Bucks are trying to set the tone early on, Leshabela moves forward and finds Dyer, he gets barged over but find Hilton and he gets into the box before finding Walker. Remi's dart into the box and cross to the near post is cleared.

We have a stoppage for attention to be given to Alty's Isaac Marriott.

The Bucks are attacking the goal at Frank Nagington Stand end in the first half, behind which are a noisy Alty support of around 100 fans.
