FULL TIME:
Austin Samuels' penalty and a dogged defensive effort has denied the Bucks any reward here at the Impact Arena.
Last-gasp defending denies Stenson as he takes the ball down, turns outside a defender and fires in a fierce shot that bodies are hurled in front of in desperation, but in fairness, it worked.

Diyawa escapes to force a corner off Piggott on the left. They'll try to keep it at the quadrant... they don't, and Dyer is fouled.
Bucks free-kick!
Cranston puts the ball into the box, Fletcher finds a header but puts it over Willis's crossbar.

Bucks corner on the left, it's met by Stenson's head, but goes away from goal and it's all very messy as the Reds keep the door shut. The phase of play ends with a Stenson shot over the crossbar.
The Bucks are giving a lot of effort in their pursuit of a leveller, but the final ball hasn't found its intended target too often.
Injury Time.
We'll play a minimum of 8 additional minutes.
Dyer gets to the byline and crosses, Willis grabs it to thwart the away side.
Williams gives vain chase onto Leshabela's ball into the outside right channel. The Reds return it but they're flagged offside.
The corner came to little, but the Reds kept the ball at the corner flag to use up valuable time.

Nathan Newall's push and run past Piggott earns the Reds a corner on the left.

Booked
Ammar Dyer collects yellow for a hand on an Alfreton shoulder to slow his escape.

Attendance
A crowd of 451 has been inside the Impact Arena for today's game, thanks to all those Bucks' supporters who've made the trip, we appreciate it greatly.
Dyer's overlapping run brings a low, near post cross that Stenson can't force in, the ball spins loose and Stenno might get another opportunity... he doesn't, the Reds clear and we'll have a stoppage following Walker's attempts to wriggle through that's halted.

The corner brings no threat on goal.

Pendley's big diagonal forward ball won't find Stenson, but the Bucks have some territorial advantage and from Dyer's low, right wing cross, the ball goes through the six-yard box, begging for a touch. It's a corner...
Gracey kicks clear after Cawthorne and Pendley crowd out a Reds forward.

Reds substitution.
ON: Joseph Dodoo. OFF: Lewis Salmon.

Bucks substitution.
ON: Jamie Meddows.OFF: Rhys Hilton.
The Bucks are the side making the running here, as they have to, given the scoreline. Dyer takes a shot, aiming for Willis's right corner, but it is blocked.
The Bucks move the ball from right to left and then back, but Dyer's eventual cross is claimed on the bounce by Willis.

Bucks substitution.
ON: Matty Stenson. OFF: Adan George.

Reds substitution.
ON: Aaron Diyawa. OFF: Terrell Pennant.

DAH's presence forces a corner as the ball is played into the left channel. The kick is cleared partially, Cranston hits it from 20 yards and gets underneath it, clearing the bar by some distance.
The Bucks attack with Dyer, Hilton and Walker all involved but crowded out as they try to pick a way through the Reds' massed defence.
The Bucks attack with Dyer, Hilton and Walker all involved but crowded out as they try to pick a way through the Reds' massed defence.
DAH plays a give and go with Cranston and then spins to find space and let a shot go from the left of the box, it's blocked.
The Bucks are certainly looking to be positive here, but haven't found the final ball that would unlock the door yet.
The Bucks hit a great ball to DAH on the left but Barrett the full-back manages to get back on the right sideof him and stop his escaping towards goal.
Hilton cuts in from the right on his left and his low shot, aimed inside Willis's left post, is pawed away by the keeper. George's attempt at the rebound finds the side netting, but he's offside anyway.
The rain has abated until the game has restarted, and its now coming down harder than it has at any point this afternoon.

We're back in progress...

HALF TIME:
We trail at the interval to Samuels' debated penalty.

The Bucks have responded in the 4 minutes of time added by the officials, and some good passing results in Adan George winning a corner. The kick poses some threat but is cleared.
Samuels converts with a shuffle and delay before beating Gracey's dive to his left. A good penalty, but the penalty award will be debated for a long while...
PENALTY
The Reds are awarded a spot-kick after Gracey is assessed to have impeded Abbey.
Cranston covers a move forward by Pennant on the Reds' right, and even wins the throw as the ball comes off one of the home side.
Kevin Wilkin is no more than 5 yards from me and I can tell you that he's not impressed by the officiating, feeling that the hosts are getting the benefit of some of the more physical moments.
Gracey watches like a fielder in the deep in cricket, watching the ball drop and land in his gloves for safety.
The Bucks definitely growing stronger in the last few minutes, and Walker does well on a couple of occasions, making runs into the box. His second sets up Hilton to cut in onto his left and shoot, deflected, and Willis holds as it sits up nicely for him.
Close!
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout Willis? A great save, in fairness, as the Reds no.1 gets down to his right to turn away Hilton's shot as the winger goes down the middle onto a through ball and takes aim.
Better from the Bucks, they step up the physical intensity and their quality gets them going forward, with Walker, Fletcher and Leshabela all taking up the charge, but unable to find a way through.
Close!
A corner from the right, taken by Cranston, brings a header on target from Cawthorne, it's blocked. the play continues, Fletcher takes a swing but misses and then sets up for Pendley who fires his effort low and wide of Willis's right post.
The free-kick from the Bucks is headed away from the right of the box to the right touchline, and Dylan rejoins the game.

BOOKING
George Cantrill booked for the hosts, for a foul on Dylan Allen-Hadley that will mean physio Beth Lewis entering the field to attend to him.
From the resulting kick, Jed Abbey's shot is deflected but Alfreton recycles possession and from the play that develops, Gracey makea one great stop and then another, aided by his defence.

BOOKING
Jordan Cranston is booked for a foul on Austin Samuels in the 'D'.

Dyer's well-timed challenge breaks up an Alfreton move and the Bucks take the ball away down the right, the eventual cross cut out.
Gracey claims the ball with Pendley stood over him as he smothers it following an Alfreton ball towards goal.

BOOKING
Orrin Pendley collects a yellow card with a raised foot. He had his back to goal, trying to make something of the free-kick, and caught Perritt in the chest.

Rhys Hilton's been quiet but changes that by turning inside and getting away from his marker, getting a nudge and then a free-kick after no advantage materialises.
Not a lot to report in the early stages, but Allen-Hadley looks lively and a run and cross down the left brings a clearance from the near post.
Another Reds free-kick from halfway by Perritt is dealt with and the Bucks respond with Ammar Dyer's cross from the right cut out.
The Reds earn a free-kick on the left and Oliver Cawthorne's glancing header to clear to the right isn't kept in by Adan George, so it's a corner. It's taken and cleared.
DAH brings a save from keeper George Willis, low at his right post, when the free-kick is recycled and finds him at the back post. The resulting corner brings no threat.
Dylan Allen-Hadley draws a foul, spinning away from Ryan Barrett, who catches him. The kick is taken by Jordan Cranston, 35 yards out, and he sends a aerial ball to the right of the box.
Remi Walker's foul on Adam Lund gives the Reds a chance to load the box and Harrison Perritt's free-kick from halfway is nodded on towards goal, but Josh Gracey collects.
